| Foundation
For Regional Development Roma - Plovdiv has been found on 31.03.1995
as a response of a group of enthusiasts gypsies to the difficult situation
of gypsies in the Stolipinovo district.
The foundation is registered as a non-for-profit organisation and works on the principles of charities. The aims and objectives of the foundation has been formed as a result of long-lasting activities |
organised by
its founders and their desire to improve the way of life of their gypsy
brothers and to guarantee them the status of Bulgarian citizens enjoying
full rights.
The main objective of the foundation is to help gypsies in the Plovdiv region and to improve their social, cultural, economic and education status through which developing new opportunities for them. It will be achieved by implementing |
different initiatives
through which they can integrated into the Plovdiv community as full right
members.
The foundation is managed by Managerial Board and a Chairman. The controlling body is its General Assembly. The propety of the foundation forms by grants and charities from Bulgarian and foreign organisations and individuals and from membership fees. |

Developing projects in diffrent which lead to achieving the main aims of
the Foundation.
2. Improving the social, cultural and economic status of the gypsies in the Plovdiv region. 3. Helping low-income families, handicapped, lonely mothers and other people in need. |

Encouraging and helping talented gypsy children to develop in the field
of arts, sports and science.
5. Stimulating scientific and artistic works dealing with Gypsy problems and recognising the traditions of the Gypsy ethos. 6. Motivating and stimulating |
Gypsies for
education, additional training and active participation in
the development of the Plovdiv region and the forming of open citizen society. 7. Organising seminars and training people inthe field of economics, social sciences, business etc. |
